Actually in the eastern part of Kansas there are a lot of trees. It's when you get west of Wichita that the trees get really scarce and you have the wide open prairies. We don't have too much of that where we are. Actually, we look a lot like where Janet lives in Indiana only not quite as much rolling ground. People don't realize that Kansas isn't just one big plains area because that's how we're always shown as. I do know that we don't have nearly as many trees as you do in Austin!
