Id take diet pills in a heart beat if they didn't have such ill side affects. Most the pills out there now somewhat scare me, especially after reading such horror stories.
I know the bottom line is to eat a balanced diet, limiting the fat/calorie intake, to get up off your bum and move, etc. All that in my world is much easier said then done. I have always in my adult life gone up/down with my weight. One day I will look in the mirror (or step on the scale) and say "that's it, Im on a diet!" Then will lose the pounds. But in a year or so it slowly climbs back up to where I started. I love to cook and I love to eat. I just need to focus on the basic rules of weight loss as most humans do and I think the weight will come off. So much easier said then done, LOL. ![]() |

Weight Watchers is the way to go! I have only been on it for 1 month and have lost 14 lbs. Its easy and I haven't been hungry. I ordered the books off ebay. I really don't have time for the meetings. 2 of my coworkers are on it also. 1 lost 30 lbs and the other 100! I also drink lots of water.

After I had my daughter, I had about 10-15 pounds of baby fat that I wanted to loose. I started counting my fat gram intake. I would eat no more than 15 fat grams a day. Bennigans had healthy lunches with like around 7 fat grams.
After a month of this, I was back into my size 3 jeans. |

Sounds like weight watchers is the way to go then. I am planning on going next Thursday and see what they have to say and if I think I can do it. I've tried everything else in my lifetime as far as diets go, so I have nothing to lose...but weight!

Glad to hear that you can get the Weight Watchers info from books on E-bay or their website. I've been wanting to check them out, but with working , going to the gym, and family obligations haven't had time to add WW to the list. I just need to lose 8 lbs or so, but know folks close to me who need to lose more.
Great thread!! |

I lost 10 lbs on Weight Watchers and have kept if off for years! I LOVE Weight Watchers. You can eat anything you want to. And with so many foods having 0 points, I was never hungry.
