As of 1:30 today they hadn't taken him to surgery. He went into the hospital at 10:30 am. He's running a temp. So they had to do a chest x-ray to check his lungs and his heart. They said his lungs look fine. He had the chills before he left home. They told my SIL that they would wait to see what the heart dr said and then take him to surgery if dr thought it was ok. She called at 1:30 said it was a
waiting game right now. That if he did make it though surgery they would keep him sedated till Sunday and wake him up slowly. Don't want anymore stress on his heart. Then she had to get off the phone because they were taking him some where. Haven't heard any more. That was an hour ago. I wish I could be there but there are already 17 people waiting around in the waiting room. Thanks for all your prayers. It doesn't sound good.

Gosh! They usually don't take people to surgery with a temperature, unless the surgery is an emergency. This does not sound good....

Last night my BIL came out of surgery at 7:30 pm. The Dr told my SIL that things were not looking good at all. He had some bleeding that they couldn't get stopped and they couldn't get his blood pressure to stablize.
They finally think they got the bleeding under control. It's 7:00 am now and have not heard anything. I am praying for a Christmas mircale. So no news is good news I hope.Thanks everyone for your prayers.

Linda, I do hope George will recover from this, although with the colon cancer...???
How is Sara handling all this? Is her whole family up there? I can't see Brad or Judy missing work for anyone except fishing, but I hope they were there for Sara.

Janet,
Judy was there of course. Pearl is there too for Sara. Then there's all of George's family. Yesterday was his brother's 10th wedding anniversary and he was spending the day at the hospital for his brother. They said there were about 17 to 20 people there just for George. Judy was spending the night with Sara at the hospital while Pearl spent the night at Sara's friends house not far from the hospital. Still no word yet.

Linda I said a prayer this morning for your BIL. I hope you will have good news later... He sounds like a wonderful person and has family around praying for him.
