Your cut looks very nice on you, Gayle!!

Mine's short right now, too, but not as short. It was below my shoulders, so big change. I'm still not sure about it, but hubby loves it and others think it makes me look younger, so who's to argue with that.

You look lovely with your shorter doo!!!

You were a hairdresser!!! You'll understand this. My hair has been pretty gray since I was about 35 - very gray since 45. People often ask me how I get my hair this color! LOL!!! They will ask me who my hairdresser is, so they can get the same color. Hairdressers know that you can make your hair this color. Gray is the absence of pigment. You can bleach out the color, but you can't make it gray (at least that is what my hairdresser says!). Here's a couple more pics from today.

I LOVE your haircut and color. I also was a hairdresser many years ago, I still cut hair but just men. I cut my own but want a new shorter cut, spiked a little.

She is right from what I remember that was so many years ago since I was a hairdresser.. Perhaps Donna knows more.. Gayle I do have a lot of gray , it runs on my mom's side. I was about 25 yrs old when I had a streak in the front at the time Dorothy Hamil's haircut the wedge was in style. lol I dye my hair , not everyone can look good with gray hair. You look very attractive, I probably look older... lol Now a days I am a brunette and put a few highlights in looks sun kissed lol... I have to get touch ups quite often and I hate it!! lol

I met my current husband (#2) when I was 30 and dying my hair. He asked me why did did that (dyed my hair). He told me to let it go, he wanted to see it natural. He said he loved the gray and so I have never looked back. I asked him about 15 years later, when it was almost all gray, if he wanted me to cover it up and he looked at me like I was CRAZY Thank goodness - if not for him, I'd probably still be covering my gray and as you can see I have A LOT!!!

You must be so thankful to have a husband that loves you just the way you are.
Mine is a SOB, does not like anything EXCEPT, food and clean clothes.
Think it is time for a pity party, NOT>
