My Canon has a rechargeable battery and it lasts a long time between charges. Of course, it depends on how much I use it on when it needs charged.

I have been checking some reviews online. Now all I need to do is find them in the store and see if they are what I am wanting...comfortable to hold...etc.

I have a Canon A 560 which is a little large to carry in my purse, but I do. I got fed up with the battery issue so went online and did some research. A couple of people also told me to turn off the viewer because it drains a lot of power.
I got Energizer Advanced Lithium batteries which have lasted a good 3 weeks! I also got a Maha battery charger and Powerex nickel cadmium rechargeables. They were recomme3nded a lot online, but I haven't used them yet. I would love a camera that was a bit smaller and that recharged it's own internal battery.
