The dr. told me its not serious but it still scares me. If it doesn't get better by next week I will go to an ENT dr. Why does these things happen only to meeeeee ??? .
 Marilyn it is very scarey and I am scared when I go to bed now. |

Gina, you poor thing!!! I hope it settled your fears some with your Dr. saying it's not serious. I've not ever had it happen but can imagine the feeling and it's not good. I wouldn't wait too long either. Keep us informed okay?

I've never heard of it either but I hope that by following the drs orders that you'll get some relief from it. That would be scary.

I have had some strange symptoms related to acid reflux. If this were me, I would go to the ENT now just to know what it is.
I have had the endoscopy. They put you out, which I always enjoy. You don't feel anything, not even when you wake up. If it is acid reflux, it is usually manageable by watching what you eat and taking the little purple pill (nexium).
