Called for Jury Duty AGAIN!!!

Many years ago, when we lived in another state, you could NOT get out of jury duty. We had a prepaid vacation for which we would lose all the money if we couldn't go. Gary was called for jury duty, got put on a jury - told everyone who would listen that he couldn't serve, had this vacation paid for, would lose money, etc etc - no one cared - got put on the jury anyway. The night before we were to leave in the AM, the case got settled out of court. WHEW! That was so stressful.

When we moved to Texas - it is easy to get out of jury duty - I'm glad. I have served and do so when I can - but sometimes you just CAN'T!!!
