I'm here! Just busy at my internship. It ends in two weeks, I graduate in three weeks, and I start grad school in a little less than two months. I am in the process of interviewing for graduate field placement and I'm super nervous about it. The placement I really want is the most competitive. There are a lot of people applying and only six slots. Four of those slots are paid which would really be helpful. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'll let you guys know what happens.
Anyway, that's a few reasons why I've not been around very much. I read more than I post though.

I'm here, too!
We are leaving tomorrow to go to Branson for a commissioning service for my son to become a missionary in Scotland. I'm sure it will be an emotional time for us all. They will leave in November. The roll call is a great idea! I just want to say that I have enjoyed this site and getting to know you all so very much. You ladies are the best

Here - just filling in with the VP today and busy for a change! Wet weekend, 7.5 inches of rain, but beautiful yesterday and today. Love sitting on the 18th floor instead of the 12th. I can almost see Marilyn, Betsi, and Gayle from up here!

Janet, I love your new picture!!!
I went to Red Deer on the weekend to visit my best friend and her fiance. I took Scott with me (her fiance is named Scott too and we all have way too much in common  ) We went to help her out with wedding favors, and ended up getting 189 done before we ran out of her homemade candy. We played some board games throughout the evening, and then she and I stayed home to talk all night while the boys went out on the town! We had a 6 hour drive home yesterday, and we stopped at a bunch of places to take pictures. My parents were here in the city for the weekend and were sticking around until I got home before they left. We ate some pizza at my grandma's house and after my parents left, my grandma, uncle, and Scott taught me how to play Canasta and we played a couple of rounds before I went home to go straight to bed! So I've been hectic for a couple of days

Oh yeah and I want to add, on Saturday tickets went on sale for an AC/DC concert here in August. My brother managed to get us 8 tickets, really close to the stage! So many people couldn't get through, I don't know anybody else who is going. The concert sold out in about half an hour. So there will be Scott and I, my brother and his girlfriend, my parents, and two of my parents' friends
 When my brother called me to say he got through, it made my whole weekend

It has been slow here.
I am babysitting my great grandson furbie, he is a Pom and about 3 llbs. Tricksie with her ocd is driving him nuts and me too. Glad the groomer is here for her so that we can have some quiet time.

Have not been on for a while as my son was home from uni for Easter and he hogs the computer. He went back yesterday on his 20th birthday where has the time gone.
My better half has gone to Canada for a week skiing with work. So am now catching up on silly jobs, oh and took my granddaughter to school today her first day at big school she is 5 in may, took me back to my daughter starting 25 years ago had a little tear....
