Going to see my uncle!!
If I've already posted this, forgive me. It's one I tried to post and could not find where I did. I'm flying to Odessa tomorrow evening to spend a long weekend with my only living blood related uncle. He was the baby of them all and is now 84. Haven't seen him in 8 years. I'm soooooo looking forward to the visit. He is doing pretty good. Has two types of cancer, but I think one is in remission, and one is very slow growing. His wife is not in very good health, I don't think. He said something about breathing treatments for her on Twitter.
Can't wait to see them. There are many things I'd like to talk about with him. Since he was the baby and my mother (his big sis) married late in life, they spent a lot of time together. Will try to post some pics when I return.

That would be such an interesting trip Marilyn. I would love to talk to an older relative, but they are all gone...all except my mother.

Just landed in Houston!! 1 hour layover. Then on to Odessa.

Uncles and Aunts are very special. I just got off the phone after talking with my 87 year old Aunt! I am so glad you are getting to see your Uncle. It's a very special relationship.
