Vet Visit

I had to take Emilee to the Vet today for her teeth cleaning. She had to have 5 pulled, they were just barely hanging on. I can tell she feels so much better without them and with having her teeth clean. I just love the way their breath smells after a cleaning and her teeth are so white now. They looked really bad before the cleaning.

How often do you have their teeth cleaned? I had both girls done when I had them spayed back in January. Sadie just turned 4 yrs old and one of her teeth were falling out so they pulled it. They gave me some liquid(can't think of the name of it right now) to put in their water. It is supposed to help keep their teeth clean and breath smelling fresh...It's working so far!! They also gave me a gel to rub across their teeth everyday to help with the same thing.

I take them every year Brenda for a teeth cleaning. I just don't want them to ever get sick from some kind of dental disease.

I haven't had Max's teeth cleaned in 2 years! Annie was neutered before I got her so I don't know if her teeth were done.

I am happy that Emilee is feeling perky now with her teeth all done up!

I had Reuger's teeth cleaned last year about this time and I think that I need to take him in again. I noticed last year that he kept licking his lips and the vet said that could be a sign that they need cleaned. He's doing it again so I need to take him back in.
