My Baby (G)Eco

Hey all - we leave this week for Arkansas in our 18 foot (baby) travel trailer. It's really small - we had a 30 ft fifth wheel and we traded it last year for this. The brand is Eco - and if you look closely at the picture, you will see a couple of geckos - so I call it my baby Gecko trailer.

It is very small and pulls so easily behind the pickup. I have to do all the driving and set up and break down as Gary usually just can't help much. The fifth wheel was just too big for me to handle alone. I love this little guy! It does get a bit cramped if it rains and we have to spend the day in it - but oh well, that's the time to go SHOPPING! Right?

We will be camped on the White River in Northwest Arkansas. Hopefully, Gary will catch some trout. I doubt I'll have much internet access - so I'll check in when I can. We don't leave for a few days yet though, so I'll be around.

That's a really cute baby trailer!! Ours is that size, and it's just so much easier to handle. My brother has a bigger one, so when we go together we just take his and split the gas, etc. I hope ya'll have fun in Arksansas and Gary catches lots of fish

I would so love to have a camper again. We had a pop-up and when we sold it I had hoped to get what I call a hard shell. Now I'm wishing we had a motor home so we or I could take the dogs and go once in awhile. Not sure if it will happe.....maybe.

I bet you'll have a great time.

What a cute camper, Gayle! I love all the little decorations on the side!!! It does look a little small but it's just the two of you so it shouldn't be too awful bad, not like if you had your grandkids with you!! Right now the weather is really, really nice but it's suppose to be warming up so you'll be able to enjoy being outside. I don't think that there's any rain in the forecast, but that can change. Have a good time and drive carefully. I can't wait to see pictures!!

I can't remember for sure but I think that we went canoeing on the White River in Missouri......or maybe we just talked about it!!! Beautiful scenery there!!!

Our grandkids are wanting Glen and I to take them camping at the lake this summer. Our pop-up sleeps 7 and we have 6 grandchildren. We may have to take a little tent too. I know what you mean about cozy!!

That is so nice! It does look like it would be fine to handle. You are going to have a nice vacation. Camping is just so relaxing.

Before Jessie was born, my first husband and I went tent camping every weekend for a good 4 or 5 months every year, weather permitting. I've never gone trailer camping, but it sure looks cozy.
