I cannot believe this....

I figured out that I have been waiting since April. That's 10 weeks, and he couldn't find 2 more days within that time period

Venting is good. Now I can go over there with a smile on my face. I will never tell them how I really feel.

Once I get the work finished, I will get over it anyway. I know my own nature.

I can feel your pain Judy....that's the way my husband is with anything around here. I lived with it for 34 years. One of these days I swear I'll just call someone to come get all the odds and ends done and then let him figure out how to pay for it...lol.

My dishwashing machine gave up the ghost, for weeks it was just standing there, the more i thought of it the more frustrated i became, so i finally told him that i would take it to the scrap yard because i had ordered another one and will give it to him for a fathersday gift, and guess what?! Next thing it was up and working again, he had opened it up himself, all it needed was a new washer stuck in!

I can understand your fustration. You've certainly been very patient with your SIL. Thank goodness your daughter had something to say about it. You have every right to find someone to finish your work. If he couldn't find time to finish it without a job he'll have even a harder time finding time to get it completed now. You know that you can vent to us anytime!!!! We understand.

And to add......I'm glad that he found a job. With this economy that's quite an accomplishment. I hope things work out well for him.
