Love the picture Mandy. If we have any traditions other than the cap and gowns, I don't know what it is. Everyone usually has an open house, reception or party on different days so the students can celebrate with their friends.
After the ceremony for my son's class, everyone just went outside to congratulate the graduates and take pictures. Then we go home. Back when I graduated '73...we didn't have parties or receptions. We just went home and either got ready for college or a job...lol. Times have changed quite a bit.
