Looks like all the kiddos will be with us Saturday (except Jonathan, who's in Iraq). Hubby's cooking mudbugs and brisket. I'll have all the inside cooking to do. I found a recipe for Strawberry Margarita Pie that I'll be making tonight. It's a Sandra Lee recipe that looks/sounds great. Of course, I'll be doubling the tequila.

From our house...we can see firewords from all over. We do usually drive a little closer to town so we can see the fireworks better, but not sure what we'll be doing. Nothing big. We are suppose to have thunderstorms Sat. and Sun.

Brendon and I are hanging out with some friends. We don't have concrete plans, but whatever we do will be fun because the people are awesome. We will try to hang out with my family too.

I'll mosey over to Jessie's house. I haven't given it any thought. I'm pretty lazy about holidays because Jessie is so close by. I just go over there.

My son and his family will be here tonight
 Then tomorrow we are going to swim at the country club while the guys play golf. Saturday we are going to my niece's house for hamburgers, and we'll let the kids ride horses.

Good Eats
It was extremely hot, but we made the most of the shade!
#1 = Jeff and Paula in the back - Roxann and Laura in the front #2 w/mudbugs = Paula, Roxann, Ryan, Abby, Emily, Jeff, Harold, Christian, Delaney, Kenneth #3 = Sarah and Bree #4 = Delaney, Abby, and Christian No g-son pictures. Andrew was with his other g-ma. Brandon was in his room with his nurse. Baylor escaped all pictures!

It looks like you had a nice family gathering, Sandy!!! Thanks so much for the pictures!!!
It ended up that we didn't go to Ed's. Damon and Dae Lynn were here most of the day and Damon wanted to fish so Glen went with him. When it came time to leave for Ed's I was tired and Glen had a bunch of fish to clean. We ended up going on top of a hill here near the house and watched the fireworks from there. You could actually see fireworks from a lot of places from there plus there was lightning in the background. It was all so pretty. Then we went back to Amy's and they set off the fireworks that they had. We had a good time.
