Sounds like you had fun! My son, DIL and grandsons have been visiting us this week. We have been swimming, too! They have gone home, so things are a little quiet around here. It's so hot here that it makes me just want to stay in the A/C

I spent the day home.
Did too much reading! Finished the third book in the Twilight series. Finishing up laundry. Last load of the day in. Its my bedding, so better get it done or I am sleeping on the couch! Got some much needed cleaning done. Still a lot more to do.. as always! Trying to decide if I let my neice have my wicker end tables, or store them until I decide there is no reason to keep them.. for I have no need for them now other than I like them.. they have been replaced by other 'like'em end tables'. I have such a hard time letting go. Which is why my home is cluttered. Which is why I have two of everything.. Which is why I am going to yet another antique show tomorrow to look, see, buy, something I do not need, to clutter my home even more.. Houston.. we have a problem. |

I did laundry...seems like I do way too much of that..lol. I also played with the dogs and puppies, aggitated my son....and just did odds and ends around the house, also spend some time on the phone with two wonderful friends. I didn't even get dressed.

I worked yesterday then I went home and played with the pups, did some laundry and packed another box. We are moving at the end of the month so I figured if I pack a box a day I won't be so overwhelmed.

Let's see......yesterday I went to some garage sales and found several things. Then I stopped and visited my daughter, Amy, on the way home. She's started a new job and she's been really busy and I've hardly seen her lately. Then I'm not sure what I did with my day......I did some laundry......Glen and I took a little walk down behind the house.......then we went to church because we had a special speaker. After church Glen took me and Amy and her girls out to eat at a nice restaurant.
Today we went to church and now we're in the process of taking naps!!! My favorite thing to do on Sundays!!!! It's good to have you back on here Kim!!!! I'm glad to hear of the weight loss and I'm starting to work on doing that myself!

Saturday, we cleaned house. I went grocery shopping. Made banana bread mini-loaves to take to church. Cooked supper. Cleaned up the kitchen. That about sums up Saturday.
Sunday, went to church, cooked lunch, cleaned up after lunch. Watched a nature program on TV with our daughter for a while. Took a brief nap. Went back to church. Got a bite at Dairy Queen. Came home & did a bit more cleaning, things we didn't get to on Saturday. Folded a few clothes. Did a bit of reading & called it a night. Today, back to work!!

Saturday was a lot of fun. I went with Jessie to town with our 3 kids, and 4 of Brandon's friends for his 8th birthday. We had pizza, and then took them to the movies to see Ice Age 3. It was in 3D, and I couldn't believe it! It really is 3D, and a lot of fun. It was a fun movie too. The kids were really good, everybody had a good time, and now the birthdays are over for this year!
I stayed in town after Jessie left with the kids. JC Penney was a bust. It's too small, and they haven't got much merchandise. I wanted to look at some things I have seen online, but they don't have them. Then I started off to Walmart, but it started to rain. I ducked into Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was also too small to have much of an assortment. I stayed there until the rain stopped, and was crossing the parking lot when it started to pour! I was so wet when I finally got into Walmart, I had to go the the restroom to dry off my hair! Walmart was also a bust. It's too big, and I get overwhelmed and tired from walking all over the place. They had nothing I was looking for anyway. I got Burger King, a couple of nice plants from Lowe's, and came home. I used to be a real shopper. I enjoyed it, found great stuff, fatastic bargains, and so on. I think I have moved out of that phase. I really don't have the patience, and I don't like walking around stores searching out things like I used to. I guess eBay and online shopping will have to do.
