Janet! You should live closer!!! Gary loves to catfish - in fact that's almost exclusively what he fishes for here in Texas. We have a big fish fry every Memorial Day weekend. Catfish is the usual fish with a few bass, crappie or trout thrown in. But everyone perfers catfish! MMMMMMM!!!!!!

Yep, we catfish at night! We've done lots of night fishing for many different kinds of fish. It's so much cooler!!!

Thanks Sandy! We saw his kidney doc today and she is somewhat concerned about his kidney function, it is getting a bit worse and so she made a few med adjustments and sent some recommendations to his heart doc whom we see tomorrow. Hopefully it will help!

Sounds like such a wonderful trip, and such nice pictures. So glad that you and Gary had this time together to make beautiful memories!!! I love to fish too, but don't really know how. My father was never into it, nor is Rex, so when I go, it's salt water with a guide to show me what to do and where. Would love to learn to fresh water fish. Love catfish!!!

Hope you have the opportunity to have many more trips as lovely as this one!!!

Gayle, it looks and sounds like you had a good time. I'm so glad that Gary was able to fish and have a good time. The weather was nice. We had rain on us which wasn't so great since we were canoeing at the time. I always look forward to your pictures.
