I know... it's disgusting, i have always been very careful where i place my purse, and now i know why!!

I'm very weird with public places, always have been since i was a child.

Have you girls ever thought about those black rubber bands we hold onto when we go up and down an esculator (sp) ? There are more germs on there than on a toilet seat!!!!
The buttons we press in elevators.
Money.
Door handles.

Think about all those things we touch in public places YUK!!!!

I too never place my bag on a public restroom floor, and I do get upset when my women friends or family place they handbag on my kitchen table yuck!! lol I will copy and paste and send it to them. It makes sense and people don't realize that..... Thanks for passing it along.

I've thought of these things. People just don't wash their hands enough. I worry that they might have just sneezed before touching that shopping cart or door handle, but did not think about the small child who may not have been clean and who might have just sat in that shopping cart where my purse is now sitting. Yuck!! Thanks for this post!!

Something else I do.....after I wash my hands I usually open the door to go out with my paper towel. How many go and use the facilities without washing their hands and then touching the door knob. Think about it....That just gags me silly!!!

I know LOL... i do the same, or open the door with my elbow but than i have this dirty feeling.
I always carry a waterless disinfectend hand-cleanser in my purse to "wash" our hands when we are out.

I watched a clip on t.v. about women's purses about where they've been. Mostly they talked about setting the purses down on restroom floors. Which, by the way I NEVER do.

BUT....I didn't think about it until I just read this. My purse CONSTANTLY falls from the vehicle seat onto the floor (I guess when I hit the brakes too hard or turn too sharply! ) Well, I am forever out in the pasture stepping on cow crap or horse apples, at times I am sure even doggie poo. Then, I step into my vehicle and my dirty boots are on the floorboard where my purse lands so often. So, this get's on my purse then my purse comes into my home. Often at times too that purse get's thrown onto my kitchen counter then I cook. OMG OMG OMG!! Never again.

I will forever think about where my purse has been and think twice before I throw it down somewhere that could be a potential harm.

Carrying a disinfectant is a good idea. I have so much junk in my purse now, but feel I can't leave home without it, so what's one more thing....
