Lake Travis is really low!!! Canyon Lake looked as bad or worse when we were there in late spring. Lake Texana is totally dry on the north side of Hwy 59 at Edna. There is water in the lake, but the north side is very shallow so the water has completely receded. You can tell by your pics that an inch or two is literally a drop in the bucket. We need many inches to get back where it would be nice to be.

I'm so sorry that things are as dry as they are in Texas. The lake is really low! You can sure see a difference in what a little water can do on your lawn in your neighborhood too!! I hope that you start getting the rain that you need soon. I really hate to hear about losing the trees from the drought too.
Your granddaughters are just as cute as can be!!! Isn't it fun being a grandma?!!
