Just checked the weather. It's 70 deg and light rain this morning. I thought is was much cooler from how it felt when I let the dogs out. I'm sure we will have some cooler weather soon enough.

From the rain we've gotten, our plants are all looking so good. We have small red flowers all over the front sidewalk from one of our big tropical plants. Not sure what it is called.

It's only 54 degrees here this morning and it's suppose to rain. Yesterday I actually planted 55 tulip bulbs! The temp was perfect for that.

It's raining here still. Right now the temperature is 3 degrees C (37 F) but with windchill it is -1 (30 F).

How is the weather in Calgary today Maddie? I was watching Canada AM before work this morning and it said some parts of Alberta are under a snowfall warning, and they're expecting 10-20 cm of snow today! (That's 4-8 inches for everyone else here lol)

It was very hot and muggy here yesterday, but a front came through last night and we got about a half inch of rain (my garden was so happy). Today it is cool - probably in the 70's and cloudy, so it feels wonderful. It is supposed to rain Sat. and Sun., 70% chance. We sure need it, but of course this weekend is the years biggest music festival in Austin.

Austin City Limits music festival. There will be 130 live bands playing in Austin from today till Sunday. There is a huge venue out in the park downtown so everyone out there may get wet. Bands also are playing in clubs all over downtown - don't you know the clubs will be busy if it rains. You have to buy an ACL pass to get into any of the clubs or the park. It's just too busy and crazy for me, so I skip it. Usually it is brutally hot at ACL, but this year it just may be cool and wet!

We have been having a stretch of beautiful weather, but now we are getting rain, except for tomorrow. It will be about a 10 day period of rain. It's still in the 60's or 70's in the warmest part of the day, and cold at night. We haven't had a frost yet.

I am going to plant bulbs this week. I would like them in front of the house, but that is shaded by the eaves. I may do it around my tree. I'll see. I have to bring in a couple,e of plants from the deck. The rest are dying and will just be mixed with the soil for the most part. Oddly, my fuchsia plant on my porch is still blooming. I will just leave it there until it goes.

I was thinking of taking in the angels on the front porch and steps, and putting somepots of chrysanthemums, but I really do not like them. They die out so quickly, that they remind me of death and winter.

I'm not packing up the deck furniture until it is really too cold to sit out. Some of the things out there are just too heavy to bring down to the basement, so I will cover them, and put them on top of something so they don't just rot out the deck.

Now....off to eBay for winter boots!

It's cool here today and wet. It rained yesterday and although not raining now....if looks and feels like it just did....very cloudy and here it is 2:00 in the afternoon and it's only 55 degrees. I love the cool fall weather, but I want sunshine.

Sorry late reply! Lol. Weather has been CRAZY! Tons of wind, a sign blew off a 12 storey building downtown yesterday. One minute sunny, next minute rain, next minute HUGE snowflakes. (I'm not exaggerating about "minute" either. I was about to take Lucas for a walk when it turned sunny. Got his harness on and Boom, it was snowing again. Supposed to be -5C tomorrow for the high.

Booooo Calgary weather.

Wow, luckily it hasn't been that windy here or it would feel a lot colder! It was snowing a bit yesterday as I was putting gas in my car, but not enough to even show on the ground, just a few little flakes in the air. This morning it's -5 and I had to scrape thick frost off my car. The high today is -1 and we're expecting 2-4cm of snow. I always complain about the cold but I'm kind of excited because this is the first year in many many years that it's just like winter when I was little There was always snow by Halloween! Also, I have tons of cute winter jackets that I get to wear now lol

We were put on a flash flood warning yesterday because of the rain we are suppose to get today....up to 4 inches and heavey at times. It's raining now and is suppose to keep raining until sometime tomorrow.
