The UBUNTU forum. Check it out - you can smell the testosterone!

Ang - tell Brendon that until he wears a pocket protector he actually hasn't peaked, but he's oh so close!

(I'd love to wear one in my tight jeans pocket with my black boots on - now there's a confusing look!)

Absolutely don't worry about it. Never give it another thought! It has something to do with highly technical, testosterone laden, computer factoids. Nothing we need
to live the whole rest of our lives.

LOL, well said Judy! Aye, that poor boy lives on Ubuntu forums. He wants you to know Judy that he will one day reach the peak of nerdiness...and today he went one step further. His new major is Computer Science... Someday I'll post a picture of him wearing a pocket protector! LOL!

I'm proud of him! Computer Science is fabulous!

I was a science major. I even surprised myself at the joy I felt doing chemical reactions and writing them out.
(You work backwards when you write them out - it's so cool)

Can't do Soduko though.

I LOVE chemistry. I'm not taking any courses in college, but I had both honors and AP chemistry in high school and I always enjoyed it SO much. I had a fabulous teacher though and that's really what makes all the difference in the world. I think I like chemistry because of the hands-on aspect and the math as well.

Oh, I really love Sudoku!! It's so much fun to try to get a faster time each game...

I know, I know...I'm SUCH a nerd.....

Dextress, sorry to steal your thread. Feel free to come and get us back on topic anytime...

You're a math person - I'm not. I love math, but I think I have a slight learning disability in it. I had to take remedial algebra to learn how to do chemistry math,
and that did the trick.

Dextress - Sorry. Let's get back to your stuff.

I think Brendon is the same way. He has SUCH a difficult time with math and actually got a GED rather than a high school diploma because he took algebra 2 four times and couldn't pass it. He has been wanting to be a Computer Science major since he first started college but didn't because of the math. Luckily, we just found out that there's only one extra math class for the IT (information technology) concentration as opposed to the numerous calculus classes required for the programing concentration. He thinks he'll be able to do the math class since it's mostly conceptual and directly related to computers. I think he'll be so much happier in the long run now that he's changed majors. Working with computers is really a huge passion of his.

hahaha, you found the old thread. Judy, as a gag gift, Mom bought Brendon a pack of pocket protectors for Christmas. It was hilarious. I guess he's peaked in nerdiness now! LOL
