I would have helped too Tink. I decorated mine by myself this year. I didn't mind though for some reason. My son did help a little bit, but not much. I think we just have to be in the right set of mind.

I really love your tree toppers! They're pretty. Crooked Santas with hangers up their butts are probably in more homes than you think!

I do love my little tree. The lights are so pretty, and talk about low maintenance! it gets plugged in and - done.

I finally got a picture of my tree topper. I have an angel named Rachel. Yes, ours has a name! I bought a kit (named Rachel) years ago that had the pattern for her body and dress and came with the head, hands and feet. I had made her up into a little country doll with a blue dress. That Christmas I kept looking and looking for an angel to go on top of my tree and I just couldn't find what I was looking for so I ended up making her a new dress and fashioned her wings out of wide lace and wire. My husband made a little stand for her to sit on and it also comes up to make her halo. We've had her on the tree for years and she sits on a shelf when it's not Christmas. Rachel's a very special part of our Christmas.

Rachel is lovely. My she looks so delicate to even breath next to. I get such a peaceful feeling when I look at her. So so lovely!

I think it's great how she is left out to enjoy all year long. Very special indeed.

Rachel is beautiful Diana. I love the story of how she came to be.
