Ya, I'm guilty of doing that. The good news is that I eventually got so sick of his family that I was home more often. They will probably spend too much time together and get sick of each other really fast. My mom used to get really mad about it and all it did was push me away more. The thing is that there was nothing to do at my house and my mom didn't cook home dinners most days when he came over. She didn't do it on purpose...she was just like " I wasn't going to cook tonight, I'm sorry" so then we would go out. Just make sure he knows he is welcome over there. I apologized to my mom for migrating to his family and since I have been out of that relationship everything is much better between her and I. Good luck with this situation.
