Yall are converting me!!!

So yes, I've always been a fan of bigger dogs, and I'm not a huge fan of long-haired ones. My goal is to one day get a Great Dane, or even a English Greyhound, or Whippet (even though they're small, they're miniature greyhounds!)

But yalls yorkies are just so darn CUTE!!! Makes me want one of my own and with Janet showing off her babies, I've almost completely fallen in love!!

I think your Mom, and the other girls with yorkies will back me up on this "once a yorkie, always a yorkie" ive had yorkies in my life since 1982, and seriously, life just is not the same without them, i have tried, i lasted 18 months.

I love my Yorkies, but I love a lot of others too. I would love to have a German Shepard, Whippet, Maltese, Black Lab (again), and I still want a tiny, tiny Chihuahua. If my house was bigger and more open...I'd have them all now.

Melissa, when I got my yorkie I had never been around one and I didn't know what to expect. I was actually getting him to keep my younger daughter company since she is 10 years behind her sister, but I can't imagine what I ever did without him!!! I'm home a lot alone and he hardly ever leaves my side and he's so much fun.

I NEVER thought that I'd be a person who was crazy about dogs, but here I am. We've always had outside dogs and we have really loved several, but it's different with this one. My husband was really put out that I even got him but he even says that he's a really good dog to have.

Isn't is amazing how they just make our hearts so much lighter? I, of course care about all three of mine, but Joey, he's my special little boy. If something ever happened to him, they'd have to put me in a special room. I just don't think I could bear it.

Angela's yorkie "Marty" is a really cute dog! By the way he is staying with me this weekend while they are on their trip. Chipper my maltese/chihuahua mix has stolen my heart. I didn't want him at first-my youngest daughter's grandma gave him to her, But now he is my baby,

My husband's dream is to own a Great Dane. It will probably be one of the first things we get after we are both out of college, but my little Marty (our yorkie) will always be my little baby.

i can tell you this much, i have always had great danes and they are some of the best dogs in the world. it is such a difference between yorkie and dane but they are the 2 best breeds EVER (IMO). having had danes, i thought little dogs were a joke LOL. but boy was I wrong. I can't imagine life without my yorkie! i will never again go without one. even when i take up raising danes again. will always have my yorkie by my side (or in my bag LOL)
