It Has Been Good To Get Back To 4wt

I've been off more than on lately, and I have to say - it's so good to visit with you all.
This is a wonderful place, and you are dear, dear friends.

I see a therapist once a month since this business with my daughter got really bad. I told him about 4WT and he could not get over what a wonderful idea this is. I would never get to meet most of you since we live so far from each other, but caring so much about each other across the miles is such a gift.

Judy, it's great to have you back, and wonderful to have you as a friend, and i really mean that. It is wonderful to have friends on here, even though we are virtual, we are for real, and you can always count on us. Nice thing about this place is, no one ever frowns upon anyone, theres no judgement, and we can be who/what we are, and say whats on our minds.

I really, and truly care for all my friends here.

Yes this place is a wonderful place to come to and vent their problems and happiness all the ladies are wonderful and if we could meet I know that we would all be friends. I love my therapist. He always agrees with whatever I say!
Where are you going to get that?

He was also my marriage counselor. He listened to me and then to my ex at our first session. He sat there for a minute, and then pointed at Joel, and said to him, "You. You're the problem. She's not doing anything wrong."

It doesn't get much better than that moment.

Judy, I'm glad to hear that you're getting some counseling for the problems with your daughter. You know that you're special to us and we're here for you anytime you need us. We have a great group of women and we have a special bond between all of us even though we've never met in person. I know that my family and my friends don't understand that I can have close friends that I've never met. My conversation is filled with things that are said on here or something about what someone is going through. That's cool that your therapist thinks that what we have is great. I think that I like him too!!!!

Oh my! That's an interesting approach for a marriage counselor to take. I bet your ex was just floored! lol

Judy, it is great that you are back!!! I've been AWOL a lot lately, too, but I'm really trying to get on here more. I do miss all of you. Your therapist is right, we do have a great thing going here. So glad you are getting some positive help. We are here anytime you need some encouragement.

I won't be getting to NYC this year, but maybe next year in the fall. If so, we have to try to meet.

I had a counselor tell me something like that in college - "It's not you, you're fine! It's the people who are making you feel bad who are not OK." It really helped me to get more picky over my choices in friends.
