Sorry, Janet, I'm still recouperating from my husband's family Christmas party that we had last night. Today I've been dead tired. It was even hard to go to church this morning and after we got home from lunch I headed straight for the couch and slept. We ended up having, I think, 45 people in all!! Now I have one more Christmas party next weekend and then I'm DONE!!!

I'm here now that I was able to chase Joel off the computer.

I'm all excited today as today is the day the boys are supposed to be moving out!
Neither is talking about it or want to go, but I'm sticking to my guns.

Last night I gave Joel a bunch of empty totes and told him to use them to pack and bring them back when he's done moving so I can use them for storage in what up till now was his bedroom. He just keeps saying "I don't want to live there... I want a place of our (his and shannon) own!" To which I keep replying "Oh I don't blame you, so you'll have to work together to draw up a budget and make that happen ASAP". lol

I'm not "noticing" their reluctance and just bring it up like it's just a casual thing and a given that they'll be gone by the stroke of midnight. LOL It could prove to be a very stressful and difficult day if I let it and I really don't think it should have to be.

Tink, I sure hope that it doesn't end up being stressful for you today. Hopefully they will accept this and move out without any more problems. Just continue to stick to your guns!!!

I hope your day doesn't end up stressful...Keep thinking of them as each tote is packed and don't let them turn away from the exit door. It'll work out. You are about to start your new year off with a bang!!

You are going to be starting the new year off in a great way Tink. Just you and hubby for the year 2008, how nice.

Now once their out, stick to your guns and make them stay on their own...it will make them stronger. What would they do if you and hubby weren't around?

I'm here! I've just been feeling really sick for the past few days so I haven't been online very much. My medication was supposed to help the pain I've been having from endometriosis, but it didn't help at all. In fact, I think it may have gotten worse. Luckily, I am due for another appointment in a little less than two weeks. Hopefully they'll be able to do something to help.

Maybe the site will be more active after the new year when things calm down a little and we all have more time to be here.

Angie you may have to have it lasered off by having a laparoscopy. Really it's no big deal, I've had it done twice. Go in through the navel so there is no scar, laser it off, back home the same day. A little uncomfortable for a few days, but better than the pain. The endometriosis won't get better, only worse. Don't wait to long, okay?

Do you know how expensive the procedure is? We get new financial aid money in the first week or two of January so it may be possible. I think I'm also going to ask about seeing a fertility specialist when I go for my next appointment. I didn't want to mention this before because I didn't want to be a downer during the holidays, but I was SO sad at times during Christmas. In the past, Bren and I have always talked about how we would celebrate Christmas with OUR children some day, what traditions we would pass on, new ones we would make, etc. Every time one of those thoughts came to mind, it would take a lot to hold back the tears. I never knew the possibility of not having children could make someone so sad...

I'm so sorry {{{{{{Angie}}}}}} I really think that you need to see about getting your appointment rescheduled for sooner especially since you're having trouble.

I don't remember how expensive it is, but Angie, if you want children it shouldn't matter. The endometriosis doesn't get better, in fact it causes scaring. Please don't wait to see a fertility specialist.

The doctor says I already have a lot of scaring. I hope it isn't too much. I will definitely see a specialist... I'm just afraid they'll tell me it's too late...

Angie, I am sorry your pain got in the way of your holidays and hope you feel better soon.

Don't worry about the unknown yet, just take care of now. I agree with the others, you need to continue with the doctor appts and find out your best options.
