Sharing wedding plans!
Please post your own wedding pictures, or for those of you who have daughters with weddings coming up, share them here. It is an exciting time and I'd love to see the different themes
Our wedding is going to have the colors that remind you of glamorous old Hollywood. Blacks, Ivory, deep charcoal greys with pin strips... Lavender and chrome accents. I will carry a bouquet of Calla lilies, and my two brides maids will carry either hydrangeas or orchids. Here is my ten dollar eBay purchased wedding dress lol It is a vintage form fitted pencil skirt type that comes off the shoulders. These are some close ups of the detail in the bodice in much better lighting than me trying the dress on in the thumbnails attached. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...dressFront.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ressFront2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...dressBack2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../dressBack.jpg |

Our guest book photo mat that everyone will sign, then we will frame
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...okPhotoMat.jpg And here is the start to our wedding album scrapbook http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...mScrapbook.jpg We will be married at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and honeymooning at Walt Disney World Here is the veil, it needs some fluffing, and I will wear it probably a bit higher towards the top of my head with a long wavy false pony tail, since my hair takes forever to grow! I got married 5.5 years ago. I would call it very simple & traditional. My brides maid wore simple 2 piece teal dresses & the groomsmen wore grey 3 piece tuxes, with european ties. The only thing i really cared about was the music & it was good. I married in the same church, my parents & grandparents did.
these are the only pictures I have on my computer of if. We honeymooned in hawaii. |

Thank you Tammy! Keep them coming Your daughter is going to be one stunning bride! Is she having a large wedding?
Pony, I absolutely love the first picture. It is so beautiful. That effect makes it looks vintage and a bit dark Looks like you got your moneys worth in a photographer! That is my next step once I secure location, and priest. Something I refuse to skimp or settle on too lol I already have a few sites of locals favorited in my wedding folder, we'll see. |

Though I love my piercings, I think for the actual ceremony and some pictures I won't have them in.
I love everything this lady is wearing on her head and neck lol http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...or_hporada.jpg |

All the pictures are just lovely. Back when I married 30 some years ago, there sure wasn't the choice of dresses you all have now and the photography is out of this world now...just wonderful.

Pope, you NEVER should have said you're honeymooning at Disney World! When Gwen reads this, you KNOW she'll be making plans to join you, lol!
I didn't know they did weddings at the National Aquarium-that sounds really neat. I love your gown, and it sounds like the flowers will be beautiful. I'm so excited for you! |

lol Bev *does the army crawl across the floor looking around nervously*
Actually, the lady who runs these events is kind of excited and shocked that I asked her for permission like my priest instructed me to before I went ahead with my plan making. She said she hasn't been able to get a priest out there to actually marry someone. I am so pleased with my priest (what I've gotten to know of him through emails...) and I hope I still am after this first real life introduction! I'm not horribly worried about that though Is it customary to give gifts beyond the parents and the wedding party? |

Can't help you there. Not only did we NOT have a traditional wedding ceremony...we kind of didn't have a ceremony at all! We ran off to Jamaica to get married!
But I would think parents and wedding party would be all. Any ideas what you're going to get for them yet? |

Catlover, we are going to have a modest wedding. Probably about 100 people MAX. I have a huge family back home, but some are older and can't make the trip down anymore. One of my normal aunts just had a second hip replacement.
So far, I got my Mother in Law this for her son to fill out and give to her on our wedding day. She has no idea. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=018 I thought about giving her something from me too, since she kind of gains me as a kid lol (and she will need this after she gets that book...) http://cgi.ebay.com/Mother-of-the-Gr...QQcmdZViewItem Something like this for the best man? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=005 Something like this for my dad http://cgi.ebay.com/WEDDING-HANDKERC...QQcmdZViewItem Still working on a few more of the parents and the perfect gifts for the bridesmaids (both of our sisters) as well as the other groomsman. I'll worry about tying all that up before I worry about getting my falsie chicken cutlet inserts |
