My day....

I decided yesterday that I was taking today off. I love that kind of day! (Yesterday was pottery, Monday was beautification, etc.).

I got caught up on 4WT, I may go through my books and clean them out before I find a place to move to. I started, but got bored. I may bathe the dogs, and I may watch the movie, "The Bourne Ultimatum."

I'm annoyed that I have to trace my phone wires. My cleaning woman was here yesterday and the phones are now dead. I have to see if she accidentally knocked one of the lines out of the socket.

A lovely, quiet, relaxing day with very few goals! Yum!

All that's on TV is how our Governor is resigning because he was caught using high priced prostitutes. I find it odd that people are so insistent that he resign. If he doesn't, they're going to impeach him. I don't think what he did was right, but he's certainly not the first politician caught doing these things. He probably used our money too! I feel so sorry for his wife - she looks terrible and has to stand by him on the news. I don't think I would stand there. I don't think that's a good message for her daughters. JMO.

It's interesting that the new governor is going to be a legally blind man. He's also
Black - our first Black governor in NYS. I hear he's good.

I've been seeing your Governor on the news here. You're right, it's not right what he did, but for crying out loud he's not the first and won't be the last. I just don't understand how all these politicians do this stuff and think they won't get caught. I think they should all take intelligence tests before running for office so they don't do something so freak'n stupid. I mean DUH!!!

I get a week off Judy in 8 more days!!! I can't wait...I need spring break.

All that's on TV is Governor Spitzer's resignation....look at it this way, at least your Governor was interested in females......in our state our Governor declared he was a gay American after 2 wives and a daughter. Wanna talk about humiliating?

Sorry Judy and Janet I have to disagree with both of you. He should step down. Your governor was an aggroant man who thought he was above the law. He just didn't get caught with his pants down. How could he speak against the crime of prostitution and be involved in it himself. What a hypocrite . Yes many other politicians are guilty of sleeping around but smart enough not to get caught. He was a district attorney was he that stupid to know that they would catch him. Well what goes around comes around he brought many smiles and jubliant feelings to Wall Street this week. I do feel sorry for his wife but mostly to his children.. His call girl is a few years older than his oldest.. Hey I'm not one to cast stones here, but I hate when people who have money and power think they can get away with it...

I want to see "The Bourne Ultimatum" so badly! Bren and I watched the first two last week and neither Identity nor Supremacy told exactly who/what he is or what "they" did to him or what exactly he's capable of. I'm way too curious! LOL

With just 10 days off a year, besides weekends and holidays, I have to use them sparingly. May take one on the 31st. Melissa and her beau will be here. I've only taken 2 half days so far.

I was heartbroken when JFK, Jr. died, and I loved JFK and RFK. They did some wonderful things for our country. But!...when I think about how they handed Marilyn Monroe around like she was a toy, it makes me sick! That cousin was also indicted for rape, and Ted Kennedy may have purposely drowned his pregnant girlfriend.

(I didn't see the Bourne Ultamatim yet - I'll let you know how it is).

He did resign and may go to jail. But, calm down! Your mouth will hurt if you get stressed and he's certainly not worth it! He's no looker either.

There is a big difference between having an affair and hiring a prostitute (or $80,000 worth of prostitutes, as the case may be). One is immoral. The other is both immoral AND illegal.

That whole situation was crazy. They talked about Spitzer one day having a shot at the Presidency, and now it's all gone for him.
I think there is something psychological about it. Isn't it weird that Senator Craig was one of the leading guys in the Senate pushing this gay marriage amendment and all that? Turns out (IMO) he is gay. Now Spitzer is so anti prostitution and locking up everyone involved in it. Turns out, he loves to hire prostitutes. Pretty interesting when you think about it. `
