SO BORED! and Loney

Right now I don't have a job because I moved to Canada and my papers are taking forever to process!!! It is sooo boring staying home in the small apartment all the time, not knowing many people, or the people I do know are at work so I can't hang out. I'm so so so bored and loney.
I can't expect my BF to 'take care' of me and entertain me all the time, but he has worked a lot the last few weeks, when he's not working, it seems like he freaking always out with friends. I'm bored as s*** (excuse me). He just had a football game, I asked him if he was going to go out afterwards, he said no, but I just called him to ask him if I should wait to eat lunch with him and he's going out for drinks, then he has to go to night shift again!
And to top if off, he accidentally took my cell phone. He's not a bad guy, and nothing is his fault, I just don't think he understands sometimes how lonely it is, especially now that I'm not working. All I do it sit at home. No money to go out and do anything, so really, that's all I can do. I hate it. I'm so upset now. And now I'm not even hungry, and I was gonna work out but I don't want to do that until I've had something to eat today. Life sucks right now.

Sorry you're having a heck of a time right now. Before you start holding on to some hostilities, you might want to talk with your BF about how you're feeling. Once you get a job, you will meet people and not feel so lonely. Can you volunteer some place until your papers are processed just to get you out and socializing?

That's a good idea, Janet!!!

Or how about starting a hobby? Have you scrapbooked? You can buy kits that aren't too terribly expensive. It's a fun hobby. You can also go to scrapbooking parties if there's a scrapbook store in your area.

that was a good idea Janet, or you can read a good book, go walking, talk to your boyfiend to, maybe he can take you out to dinner so you can get out of the house.
(i know how that feels staying home all the time, you feel like climbing the walls some days)

Awww, I'm sorry you're feeling lonely. You should just tell your boyfriend you're going out too, and hop on a plane to Saskatoon and I'll take you on a girl's night out

You need to take Lindsey up on her offer lol.. A girls night out is what you definetly need. It is hard adjusting to a new state you need at least a good year. When I moved to another state I had family so that helped. I left all my good friends behind and a life I was accustom to. I went to work and being the friendly person that I am lol , I made lots of friends and I love to shop and there is plenty of stores for me to do so. So off to work I go...lol

Seriously go out there and mingle . Maybe get a little job to keep you busy, or volunteer your time somewhere... Good luck! Things will get better. I am sure .

Thanks guys for all of the good ideas. I do scrapbook thats fun. I'm trying to get out as much as possible, but no money=nothing to do...I joined a book club! I'm trying to hang with my (2) girlfriends as much as I can, but they have jobs! Gosh these papers couldn't come any sooner! I would love to volunteer, but you can't do those without papers either! Isn't that so stupid? Lindsay, sounds awesome! ...if only! It'd be so cool if some of you guys lived in Vancouver!!
Anyways, my bf is so amazing, and he's been off of work for the last few days and I've been having a great time, and my spirit has been lifted big time! I'm so thankful that my bf is so supporting, it's just hard to remember how wonderful he is, and how lucky I am when things feel so bad sometimes and when it seems like he doesn't understand.
You guys understand! Thanks for listening and for the ideas!!

I've never been to Vancouver, but I'd like to go. If I get out there one of these days I'll let you know! Two of my good friends actually just got back from there

I am sorry its taking so long for all of your paper to process. I am not sure if you go to church, but maybe there is one nearby that has small groups were you can get to know people.
