I received a call from Jenny in Florida tonite telling me she was leaving Disney World if I didn't get back on here, she said "They're your friends and ever since you started chatting with them you've started to be your old self again.
Mom, what would you do if one of them was sad? You know what you'd do, you'd reach out to them and have them laughing with you. Don't crawl back into that shell again, they're really worried about you, and I have my lap top with me and I will be checking 4WT daily."

I'm not mad at anyone, I'm just having a hard time right now, can't sleep or eat, just want to go to sleep.
Pete was so sick at this time last year, and I had no idea he was gonna be gone so quickly, if only I had known,,,,,,,
He died May 2, at 5:27P.M.

Kat, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know it's hard to believe, but in time...it will get a little easier. This is the first anniversary of his passing and your feelings are still so raw. We're here for you, I hope you know that. You are a very VERY bright spot on this forum and when you're not here, it's just not the same. We love you very much.

Kat on a softer note.. I understand that you are having a hard time with the anniversary of Pete's passing it is a natural feeling. You and Pete had a wonderful marriage. Like Janet mentioned it will take time, you will never forget but the pain will become less and less as time goes on. Trust me, when my brother died 30 yrs ago. My mom said those words to me. You will never forget him , you will have all the wonderful memories. The pain will stop I promise.. He is smiling down at you for you are smiling and laughing more these days. So take some time and please hurry back...

Kat, she what you have done. You have me crying with you. It brings back memories of my Dad. He passed 3 years ago. I totally understand what you are feeling. His birthday was last week. When it gets close to these dates with meanings ya just kind a get weapy. I think its all normal. Just come back here and let us give you some hugs.

That is beautiful and so true Kat. It is odd because mom just said exactly the same thing to me and Bobby. She said that she never understood how we could care about people online, but since joining this forum and its sisters that she now understands that just because you have not met some one it can not determine how you feel about them. After the family found out how she was, her next thought was that the ladies here and on yorkietalk had to be told how she was. I am so glad Angie invited me here. i have laughed, cried and grown as a person and that is all thanks to you wonderful ladies. Thank you all and I hope you know that I am here. (even though it may not be everyday.) for each of you and Kat, I know I do not know what you are going through, but I am hear to listen and I know many others are here for you as well. You do not have to face this alone. you have all of us to go through it with you.

That was truly profound Kat, Every single word and phrase. There are times when I can feel how hurt or sad someone is, and reading their post the tears just fall. I feel so close to all of you and honestly don't think I could ever walk away from this forum. We are all here for each other...good or bad...the way friends should be.
