It's starting to feel good Marilyn, i forgot my wireless phone contract is up tomorrow, i'm cancelling Mikes phone cause he has a company phone now,and lower my minutes, so that will save me 65.00 a month also, not seeing much difference money wise, cause i have to get these credit cards under control, been putting the groceries on them..
But once there paid off, i'm going to feel so good!!! can't wait, then in september i'll start Micah's Christmas shopping... going to start early this year, learned my lesson last year....

Haley, that is really good news and I'm proud of you for taking the steps to get a grip on your finances. So many people are so tied up in credit card and other debt that they can't enjoy life. You certainly deserve a pat on the back for your efforts!!!

I don't use credit cards unless I can pay it off as soon as it comes due.

That's how I am too Janet. I'm actually kind of scared to use credit cards cause I don't want to be in debt.

Congrats Haley. That's a huge accomplishment!

I needed to get back on track, still not sure what Mikes future plans are, that way if he decides to leave, there will be no bills that tie us together, it will be a clean break.. the house and SUV are mine so i'll worry about those bills when the time comes. Just needed to get out of the hole we created being together, i hate living on credit cards but got back into debt again buying stuff for the house, but needed, not wanted. the plants i could of lived without this year, but i'm glad its done..
So i'm starting to feel a little relief getting back on track ladies... Wish my marriage was this easy....
I was just thinking yesterday by the time im out of this hole it will be time to start Christmas shopping, oh boy,, i'm paying cash for everything this year if it kills me...

Aww thanks Hon, i have to do everything, if not it don't get done! At least i learned something in my two years of accounting in college...
Mike's working alot of overtime, so we have a little extra coming in, i told him i'm getting my credit cards paid off. Had enough! it's like we were "robbing Peter to pay Paul". By the time i had one paid off the other cc was almost maxed..
I sat down over the weekend when Micah was sleeping and did major calculations... got my bills/spending money on a budget for the next 4 months....

Janet i use to be that way before Husband and baby My bills were paid before they came in, harder to stick to a budget now, when your always running out of stuff, diapers, wipes, baby items.. i try and stock up on stuff when it goes on sale, but you always seem to run out of something by the time next pay comes rolling in... plus daycare is taking a huge chunk out of my pay... But i dropped alot of stuff that we didn't need so once these credit cards are paid off, i should be ok!!

Thanks Diana, trying to hard finish remolding the house was a big part in getting back into dept. I just have the kitchen and bathroom floor to go, but i'm going to pay cash for those.. just going to keep saving until i have it... i put away so much a month plus i'm saving my bonuses at work and tax refunds.. and i'll get there one day.. not pushing myself in a hole to try and get it done...

Thanks Michelle, i just hope my bathroom floor can hold out one more month, i might have to charge the material, it's starting to chip around the bathtub, can't let that go to long... but if it needs done. there is really nothing i can do about it the bathroom tile is so old...
i was hoping to wait until the end of September.. so i can pay cash for it. but with Micah splashing in the tub, some water does get on the floor...
