Grey's Anatomy
New season starts tonight! Who watches it? Who's watched it from the beginning? We don't have cable, but with the generator, we have local TV stations. I'm not as addicted to it as I was "Dallas" and "Knotts Landing", but I do enjoy watching it. I like "Brothers & Sisters", "Desperate Housewives", and "Army Wives" alot too!

I'm addicted!!!! I can't wait. I'm going to either record it or watch it, because Survivor comes on tonight too. I love Big Brother, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Jon & Kate plus 8 and a couple others I just can't think of.
In all the years that Dallas ran...I only missed I think 2 shows and it was because I screwed up the VCR. I loved Knotts Landing too, but cried like a baby when Dallas went off the air. After that many years...13 I think, they were like family.

I don't have any shows that I watch regularly. I prefer to watch movies or sitcoms.

Grey's was pretty good. They brought several scenes in with a "big bang" and let the scene go downhill. I'm not going into detail in case you recorded it and haven't watched it yet. Hubby wanted to turn the generator off to add gas and I told him he could as long as it was back up BEFORE my show started. I'm not sure who or what I relate to on that show! Poor George! No, poor Izzie! Oh, poor Meredith!

LOL...poor Sandy!!! I taped it because I was afraid I'd fall asleep since it didn't get over until 11:00. I watched Survivor, it was over at 10:00. So tonight....after the guys leave....I'm watching Grey's...right after I shampoo the family room carpet.

Do you have your own shampooer? I always rent one, but have been tempted to buy one. I shampooed mine a few months back, but will probably need to do it again when the power is on. I'm serious - my house stinks!

I have two...a Bissell Steam cleaner and a Bissell Pro Heat (like it the best).

My Christmas wish list is too long, but I should add one to that list. My Fancee and Yankee mated last week, so I'm allocating puppy money. Do you do that? First puppy will be a generator. Second puppy will be a ?

Very little puppy money goes for 'stuff.' Darn it!!! I usually just put it back into the dogs, pee pads, 6 month checkup, yearly vacinations, teeth cleaning, food and whatever else they may need.

Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters were very good last night!
I was most disappointed about Mike & Susan. I'm glad Mike's still on because they can get back together. I thought Edie was gone. Bree's too far out! B&S - that family spends way too much time together!

Oh Sandy...I enjoyed Desperate Housewives so much. When it first started, I thought Mike was killed in the accident...it broke my heart. I hope they get back together, but he was just sort of weird at the end of last season...not as cuddly if you know what I mean.
Gabby needs a mirror in a bad way...I think they went too far overboard with her....the other mothers didn't and don't look that bad. I thought Edie was gone for good, but crap!!! She's back! Her husband seems like a piece of work doesn't he? Kind of scary...wonder who he will kill...???...lolol Never got into B&S. They were just toooooooo family..for me.

I can remember watching Rich Man/Poor Man with Peter Strauss and Nick Nolte. Was the other show you were thinking of The Blue and the Gray? I have it on DVD but haven't watched it yet. I want to say that it was from the 70's too.

Yes, Edie's husband must be a control freak from the way he is puppeting her. I wonder if Mike's remarried or taken? I hope they have a helpful twist with Gabby's overweight daughter and that they don't use it in a negative way. Bree is psycho! Lynette is a hoot! Do you think they'll spend lots of time filling in the last five years, while moving forward? I didn't think I'd like DH when it first came out, but it's turned into a neat show.
