Favorite movie character
Augustus (Gus) McCrae (Robert Duvall) in Lonesome Dove is my all time favorite movie character and heart throb. And this is my favorite picture of him in that movie. Can you tell I'm a country girl at heart!!! Please keep all those business suits and give me a cowboy any day!!! LOL!
Who is your favorite movie/TV character?

Are you meaning the character in the movie, or the actor playing the character? Did I really just ask that? Did it make sense?

I really meant character. Gus McCrae is my favorite movie/TV character - but that may be because Robert Duvall is one of my favorite actors!!!
But character is what I meant!

I absolutely love the movie "Second Hand Lions". I could watch it over and over. It has Michael Caine and Robert Duvall and they are so funny!!! I'd have to say that they're my favorite characters.

I have a tie The first is Holly Golightly played by Audrey Hepburn in my all-time favorite movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's. She's just so much fun and she's quirky and beautiful and I love that.
The second is from tv (well, and a movie), Charlotte York played by Kristin Davis in Sex and the City. She is just so sweet. Everyone always says I remind them of Charlotte which I take as a huge compliment because she's always been my favorite on the show

Gayle, I'm with you on country boys. Can I just say Sam Elliott in any and every part he's ever played?

Sandy....Sam Elliott is a good choice for any character...hubba hubba
I guess mine would have to be Harry Calahan. "Go ahead...make my day"...Clint Eastwood. He still is looking good, in my eyes. Another Clint Eastwood quote: "I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum - the most powerful hand gun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question--Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk!"

I loved Swazee's character (Sam, I think), in Ghost (with Demi Moore)
Janet, did you have to look that up or do you really have it memorized? Dirty Harry is one of my favorites too.

I have a lot of favorites. So many men, so little time! I love Johnny Depp. He was incredible in Gilbert Grape. Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance King.
Redford is up there too. Ed Norton and Brad Pitt in Fight Club. There are so many more..... How about Cary Grant?

I just love Peter Sellers in the Pink Panther series - I never get tired of watching them when they are on TV.
