Foot Update
My foot has healed ahead of schedule, so we're trying to get in for surgery on November 7th, to take the pins/screws out. Then, I should be back in a cast and on crutches for a couple weeks and back in the walking boot for another month. So, by Christmas I should be back in shoes. This has been no vacation. I never would have guessed that it was so dibilitating.

You have really had to put up with this for quite some time. I'm so glad this journey is about over for you. Also, what a great Christmas present...to be able to walk and wear shoes..yay!!!!

You'll feel like a new person when this is all behind you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

What wonderful news! I think you should ask for shoes for Christmas. I hope all goes well.

I'm glad it's "almost" over (relatively speaking). Good luck!

Thanks Janet, the scar's up pretty high, so I think I'll be OK. I've been wondering if I'll be able to wear my western boots again. They take lots of tugging/wiggling to get them off and on. I love my western boots!
