Man - it's been so long since I dressed up for halloween (of course, just being "me" every day is scary enough...LOL). Only advice I can offer is try to come up with something creative, something different - everyone does pirates and witches and ghouls. You could dress all in black and get some white sticky foam (found in craft sections) and cut out a "P" to put on the front and go as, with a partner dressed the same, as black eyed peas. If there is a school that most of your friends don't like (and will therefore understand), dress like one of their players but make it look like you've taken a "beating" kinda thing. I had a friend one time dress like a beer keg and another of her friends dressed like a flip-flop - they were trying to win tickets to a Jimmy Buffett concert - and they won it - the keg even "worked" on how she rigged it up!! So, sit down, think of things you like, music interest, sports interest, and I just know you'll come up with an awesome idea!!!

It's been so long since I've dressed up for Halloween too. My son even quit dressing up at around 10 years old. I like the idea of dressing as something different, but have no ideas for you. Sorry...

My daughter is going as a gothic rag doll. Picture Raggidy Ann only instead of Red hair, do black. Instead of a blue & white dress, do black & white. Use black circled blush instead of red.

I forgot all about advising her to check the Internet. I use to do that all the time when my son was in school for party ideas at school and at home. Glad someone here is still on top of things....LOL

I think I found a really cute costume for the 2 of us! He wants to be Julius Ceaser~ I told him it was a dress, and he was all for it! LOL! It even has cool sandals to go with it! So he will be a Roman God, and I am going to be a Greek Goddes! I found a really pretty dress too! I am going to wear a really long wig too! So I hope its fun enough! Or I was thinking of going as Fred and Wilma Flinstone! EIther way, hubby has to wear a dress! LOL!
