One More Week!!!! YAY!!!
I do hate wishing time away and I'm not really, but after this week....it will be spring break and I'm so excited!!!
I'm planning to do some spring cleaning and that always gets me in a good mood. I love going through the closets and drawers and getting rid of stuff. I just can't wait. Also....next weekend I have puppies due and that is always exciting. I'm so ready to have puppies in the house again. They are so much work, but so much fun. I have 5 on a waiting list now, but that usually changes by the time they are ready to go to their new homes, so we'll see. I am hoping for some warmer weather and if not realy warm at least some sunshine. Maybe if I enough done inside...I can start outside.

That sounds like a good springbreak, except for the cleaning closets!! Yuck!!! I need to take some time and get mine done too, but I'm in no rush, I can still get the closet door shut!!!! LOL
I can't believe that you have puppies coming again!! I'm sure that they will be the cutest little puppies and I can't wait for pictures. Do you know how many you're having yet? What day are they due? We have springbreak this week and I think that Jaci's going to have a slumber party on Wednesday with some of our foreign exchange students. She's really become close friends to a couple of them. One is from Germany and the other is from the Ukraine. They have to go home when the school year ends and I know that she's already sad at the thought of them leaving. Then I think that Glen and I may have a slumber party for the grandkids. We haven't told them yet, just in case I decide not to.

I remember doing that Haley. Ricky and I had sooo much fun. He would sing but make up words to our music (?)...lol. As much as I love this time with him....I do miss when he was younger, but still he never ceases to amaze me.
You definitely don't have to answer this, I will understand, but were you and Mike planning on any more children? I so wish we could have given Ricky a brother or sister.

Haley...I grew up in a two bedroom, one bath, living room and kitchen home. My parents had their room, and this is how us kids slept. We had a room...Carolyn was on top bunk, Jerry on bottom, me on cot and baby Brad in drawer. Then Carolyn got married, Jerry moved to the top bunk, I moved to the bottom and Brad moved to the cot. After Jerry got married...yup...I moved to the top bunk and Brad to the bottom. It really wasn't so bad. Didn't notice it being small as a child, but boy after I grew up couldn't believe we did it....LOL.
Mom still lives there and it's the perfect size for her now.

I got to see the bedroom where Janet slept as a child and I couldn't believe that they got 4 children in there!!! It was really small!!! But, Janet, I bet that you have great memories of your brothers and sister in that room!!!
I shared a room with my brother when I was really little then when I was in the 4th grade we added on to our house. We built a family room and a bedroom. The new bedroom was mine and it was painted pale pink.......I still love that color!!!!

I grew up in a two bedroom, one bath house too - but I was the STEP sister. My older
s-sister had the bedroom, my s-brother slept on the pull out couch and I slept on a rollaway bed we kept in the hall and pulled out into the living rooom each night. There was a little built in closet (about 2 ft wide, 2 ft deep, by 5 ft high) and 3 built in drawers in the hall. When my sister was at home, my brother got those for his things (I have no clue where my things were kept - I was 5 years old). About 2 years after I got there, my sister moved out and my brother got the bedroom and I got the hall closet and drawers, where I stayed until my brother went to college - I was 13, and then I got the bedroom - but had to let him sleep in there when he came home!!! It's amazing, we are all so used to more space now! Our current home is only 1200 sq. ft., but we only had one daughter. It has 3 bedrooms though. A few years ago, Gary built on a den, office, and large closet onto the back of the house.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I was a child, my parents only bought what we needed and then only if we had room for it. I remember Mom sitting at the kitchen table paying the bills and had this book that she wrote everything down in.
Now we have to have more room for all the stuff we buy....lol and most of it is stuff we just want....don't need. Only two more days till spring break!!!!!
