New diet drink

My cousin sent me the recipe for a nutritious low carb, healthy drink she has been using. She lost tons of weight on this.

It's filling, easy to make and really healthy. I can't break 137, so I'm hoping this kick starts my fat cells.

It has 2 kinds of almonds, walnuts, Greek yogurt, Advantage Eas, wheat bran, flaxseed meal, fat free ricotta cheese, cinammon, stevia, an antioxidant, and vanilla.

I did some substitutions. I use evaporated milk, a protein supplement with lots of nutrients in it, yogurt, the nuts, wheat bran and flaxseed meal, cinammon and vanilla. I have to get the antioxidant.

It's delicious and has the consistency of a very thick oatmeal, but it is a drink.
I have it in the morning with a banana, can skip lunch, and just have some fruit, and then dinner.

Wish me luck!

Could you just make it for me and send it.....roflmbo!!!!! Just kidding of course. I'm not big on oatmeal (unless it's oatmeal cookies), so don't know whether I'd like it.

Sorry... I much prefer your Junk Food Day!!

To me, if its good for ya, it taste horrible or has bad texture. I am a texture gal.
If its bad for ya, it tastes great, and I want two of everything!!

I do wish you luck!!!

-1/2 cup ff ricotta cheese
-1/2 cup Fage (Greek) yogurt, plain or 2%
-1 container AdvantEDGE carb control French Vanilla shake by
EAS
-2- 3 tblsp. of some sort of good antioxidant liquid (optional)
-2 tblsp. flax meal
-2 tblsp. wheat bran
-1 large handful raw almonds
-1 large handful roasted almonds
-4 or 5 halves English Walnuts
-2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
-a few shakes cinnamon
-6 droppers of Stevia
-blueberries if you want

This is low carb, high protein. My cousin also said that no carbs after 6 PM really helps. I haven't tried that yet.

I was substituting Glucerna for the Advantage EAS, but the Glucerna is much higher in carbs, and lower in protein. I was using evaporated milk instead of the cheese, but also it is higher in carbs, lactose and lower in protein. CARB ALERT!!! No more substitutions. I also bought a protein powder, and I'm throwing that in, and I haven't found a liquid antioxidant yet.

It's good as a morning drink and even as an afternoon pick me up. I make twice the recipe, so I have it the next day. I start out with coffee and a banana, then drink this at aboiut 11 AM.

So you mix this in the blender, right to chop up all the nuts? I don't know what the Advantage EAS is but will figure it out.

Liquid antioxidant? What can this mean? I understand why you haven't found one yet.

Sounds good and very healthy. I may just mix some of this up and see what it's like.

Thank you so much for posting!!!!!

New diet drink

You can do it Try the South Beach diet. It worked wonders for me between Tru and Heidi, and it is even more effective on people trying to lose lots of weight. Use EvenHealth to count your calories and pay attention to your fat, carbs, and protein intake. I know you can do it if you stick to it.
