Busy days!
This has been a really busy week!
Last Friday, I was supposed to have someone come in to finish up what needed to be done in my house. Pictures needed to be hung, mirrors, curtain rods, etc. Steve called me on Thursday and told me that he didn't want me spending so much money, and that he would do it instead. Well, lo and behold, he showed up on Friday!!! You could have blown me over with a feather! All the work I wanted finished is now done. He did what would have taken them at least 2 full days in just one, and it's all done right. What a pleasure it is not to have to think about it any more. Now, I am beginning to really decorate, and organize. I am having fun too. I will take pictures asap. I'm now looking for a pantry for my dishes in my kitchen because the cabinets are really hard for me to get to. I'm also looking for new bedding. I don't love what I have now. Then, Jessie and I had a rough couple of days. I was really annoyed at her and she at me. We talked it over and are now fine. I do feel put upon, which I did not tell her, but I'm sure she knows. She had what to say also, which I was glad about. She used to just yes me and then get me back by being passive aggressive. Now, we are waiting for their dog to give birth. Tikani, the sweetest malamute, is pregnant. Her temp is down and her mucous plug is out since yesterday. We are hoping for puppies tonight. She said she will call me if she needs my help. The kids are so excited! So am I!! Puppies!

Wow, sounds like you have been busy!!! So glad your SIL came through and kept you from paying others to do the job, and wonderful that you and Jessie have worked things out. Things just aren't rosy all the time here in this world, no matter how hard we try to keep them that way.
Sounds like most everything is on track and making progress now. Hope you find just the right bedding!!

I'm so glad you finally got everything done! What a relief that you don't have to keep hounding Steve to finish the work!
That's so exciting about the puppies! I hope you get some pictures of them too!

Hey Judy girl!!! I can wait to see pictures of your home. I just know it's going to be great. I'm glad Steve was able to get it all done and that you didn't have to pay someone else to come and finish it. I bet you feel a great relief that it's done.
Puppies are always nice...so take pictures of them too....
