Here I Go Again!!!!!

Well to make a long story short I am going through the process of having a few more implants done on Wed. My old bridge fell out last week, I knew that it was weak and getting infected. I was hoping to get through this year, as you remember I had so much work done..

Wish me luck I have to go on Wed. morning and extract my tooth and put in the three implants.. along with not being a happy camper to have this done, my pocket hurts real bad.. I do love the implants and am hoping this goes as well. I just have to work harder.... ughhh!

Gina, I just don't know how you do it! I HATE dental work - I can't imagine having implants done - OMG! I think they would have to put me to SLEEP!!! I'm not kidding, I HATE dental work!!!

OK, now that I've gotten that rant out - I hope everything goes splendidly for you!

You and Judy are so brave with the dental work Gina. I'm like Gayle...I just hate going and have to admit...it's been a while.

I sure hope you can get it done quickly without any pain.

I just read an article yesterday on CNN.com that redheads are much more resistant to anesthetics than people with other hair colors. It has something to do with the gene that cause the readhead color and skin tones. Dentists often have to give twice the anesthetic to a redhead that they do people with other colorations, and most dentists don't know this. Gayle and Janet, are you natural redheads?

Nope, not me! I just have extreme anxiety when I have to get dental work done. It's not really that it hurts that much - don't get me wrong, it DOES hurt - but it's more the anxiety. It's awful!!!

Gayle and Janet you would have passed out to what I had to have done.. First he extracted a tooth, I have an impact wisdom also but he left that alone for another time. I have to admit this time I was anxious. The surgeon once he removed the tooth he made a comment on who pulled these teeth out , years ago they pulled out bone. Yep I went to a shoemaker lol this is the reason my teeth are bad. I was terrified of the dentist back then. Then he had to cut some muscle, put bone, and then implant I had the works.... Now remember I have loaded implants so afterwards I go to my own dentist to do the restoration work.

Listen to this!!! what a day, after I finished with surgeon I was on way to my dentist , my daughter and her b/f were driving me. As we were going down a side street there was a ultility truck doing some repair work on a light post. So we proceeded and slowed down out of no where comes this car out of driveway.. yep the kid hit us.. Here I am sitting with an ice pack on my face, waiting for the cops to come to make a report....He was a young kid who just got a mercedes not even a scratch on his car.. Low and behold my daughter's side door and fender got hit.. thank God no one was hurt. But her damage to car is $3,000.. Can you believe this!! ughhhhhhhhh.

So this my dear friends is what my day was like.. I am sore in mouth and not really eating taking antibodics but now I have GASSSSSSSSS... lol I can't wait for the better days....

Thanks for listening to me vent!! lol

Wow, Gina, you have been through a lot today!!! I hate going to the dentist too so I really feel for you. I'd have to have anxiety medicine if I was going to have all that done to me!!!! Then what luck to be hit by a teen age driver!!! I hope he has good insurance to go with that Mercedes!!!!!

I hope you're home all snuggled in with your family waiting on you hand and foot now. You deserve it!!!!
