What color is your purse??

OK, now I'm curious. What color is the purse you are carrying RIGHT NOW? We all know Judy needs a new black one, and it made me wonder about what the rest of you carry, lol!!

Mine is a mustard yellow, fake ostrich skin with big gold buckles. It's huge and I love it, even though it's not a color I ever thought I'd choose

Mine is olive green trimmed in black. It's a backpack style purse. About 3 years ago, I started carrying one like it (same style, different color) a few years ago when Gary and I took a long summer trip. He has so much medical paraphernalia that I needed a bigger purse to carry it. I called it my "camping purse". But I grew to love it so much that I just bought the same style in different colors and it's about the only thing I carry now. Sometimes I change to another one, but I always come back to my camping purse.

Oh! And I have chronic inflammation of the ribs and so I can't carry a purse on my shoulder - I always have to have a backpack style or my ribs give me FITS! I have several really cute leather backstyle purses - but I can't seem to give up my camping purse. LOL!

This is the purse, but mine is an olive green with black trim. It's kinda hard to see on the picture, but there are outside compartments on the front (2) and one on both sides. They close with really strong magnets, so they are super easy to get into and out of. I carry my keys, and other odds/ends in them. The magnets are so strong that sometimes my purse "sticks" to metal walls doors, like in bathroom stalls! LOL!!!!!

Great thread, Betsi!

I usually carry fabric purses with some kind of design. Don't like being too ordinary, but recently bought a black purse with some metal buckles. Our oldest daughter was very impressed and likes it much better than my other ones. It doesn't have enough pockets to organize though, and I'm always digging for things.

My ideal purse is one that's not to big, and not too small with lots of pockets inside and out to orginize my stuff so it's easily accessible.

Here's a website to a purse style that I really like. http://www.realpurses.com/

I should have ordered one of these in black.

It's funny that you asked that because I've been carrying the same little black purse for quite a while. It was so small but everything that I needed fit perfectly. Well, sometimes I had quite a time getting the zipper to close!!!

I bought a nice purse that looked brand new at a garage sale so I changed to it. It's multi-colored and looks woven. It's really cute but I'm finding out why it was sold. The fabric around the zipper is a little too long and the zipper catches when you try to open it so I don't know how long I'm going to carry it. I really loved my little black purse so I may go back to it!!!

Gayle, I love back pack purses. I bought a wonderful leather one when we went to Mexico several years ago!!

Great thread....I love purses. Right now I carry this Vera Bradley purse purse.png it's the Betsi. I love all the pockets inside for organization.

I also have a Little Betsi but it's in this color.. Kensington purse2.jpg

I have quite a few from slings to clutches. Don't know why...LOL. I also have a billfold that I just love so when I found another.....I bought it so when this one gets worn out I'll have it. I did just get another billfold, haven't used it yet but I really like it.

Right now I am using a big purple purse with silver buckles. There's not enough pockets to organize anything inside though and it's stuffed with junk and I can never find anything lol. I have about 6 or 7 purses I use regularly so I'll be switching again soon.

Black leather with white thread stitching on a short shoulder strap, big enough to carry everything I need, lots of pockets, with a little extra room for g-kid snacks when needed. I almost only carry black and usually go back and forth between only a few. I love the purses they have at Target!

Right now I am using a black cross body purse. I go to a lot of antique shops and carrying a purse quickly becomes heavy! A cross body is so comfortable.

Also, I am a huge fan of Ebay. I find a style and brand I like. Then look for it on Ebay. The one I am using now I paid under $20.00 for including shipping. It sells in retail land for around $100.00

I love a bargain!!

Yes Betsi, I've bought from ebags before. Exact same purse as you got in Dillards, but a lot less. If you watch, you can often get free shipping too, and you don't have to pay tax either. I always order my Sherapani Vida backpack purse (in the pic above) online - not sure if I get them from ebags, but I have gotten purses from them in the past.

Betsi, I just ordered some crocs from endless.com and they had free overnight shipping, and the crocs were on sale - see pix.

Here's a link to the site and it does have purses.
