Here are a few pics of my kitchen. I didn't realize my new fridge is so much bigger than my old one. Love it

LOVE your kitchen, Betsi! I really like the cabinets and the counter top! Your fridge and especially the stove look really nice. I just got a new stove a few years ago and I don't like it cuz the burners are too hot for simmer. When you leave something on to simmer, it burns it if you don't stir it every few minutes. My daughter has a stove that has a simmer burner and I would love to have one with a simmer burner.

It's a beautiful room Betsi! I love the black and white with the counters and walls.
That grill on the stove is a great idea!

Thanks everybody! Gayle, this one has 2 power burners 2 regular burners, and 1 simmer burner. I just cooked some chicken with one of the big burners. It heated my big pan so much better

That's right, it's Betsi's kitchen - I asked her to post pics cuz I need to repaint my cabinets.

I am, but I don't know when I'll get the time to work on them. I really need to paint my cabinets and my daughter would love to help me - she likes to do that sort of thing. But with the 3 year old, it is hard now. Maybe I'll get it done over Christmas - but don't hold your breath!

Great kitchen, Betsi!!! I thought the counter top was granite too!! Your stove looks really nice! I hadn't seen any with the grate across the top like that. It looks like you could definitely cook up a storm!!!

Gayle, are you on propane? Propane burns hotter than natural gas and I know that on my old stove I couldn't simmer either because it just burned too hot on low.

Nope, natural gas - I think the flame is just set too high - maybe it could be adjusted lower by a service man!
