Looking for a car
I've been scouting around all over looking for a car. I want a Subaru Forester, which is pretty common, but I only want a stick shift. It may take a bit of time to find one. I did find a beauty, but the Carfax gave it a terrible report! This dealer has 2 more cars for me but I don't trust him! He wanted a lot of money for this car too!
My car is driveable, and I can get the one headlight that's not working, fixed. The problem is that the windshield has a bad crack that is spreading. It is scary, because it looks like it could blow out if I hit a bad bump! I am going to the mechanic either tomorrow or Thursday to see what he thinks. Maybe I can duct tape it!

I hope you find a good Forester SOON. I worry about you driving your current car - even though it is necessary until you find one!
I know Foresters are GREAT cars, so you will probably find a good one soon. Again, I just HATE buying cars - I don't trust new or used car salesmen - they just seem to want to make a sale, no matter WHAT!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that the perfect "Judy car" becomes available SOON!

Judy, I hope you find what you're looking for and in good working shape. Take care because car dealers can be tricky. Take your time looking for one and make sure you have it checked out by your mechanic!!

I hope you find a car of your liking soon! I just hate not being able to trust my vehicle, I think we've probably all experienced that at one time or another. It's the pits!
Like Diana said, make sure you have your mechanic check it out before you buy it! I'm glad you are using carfax too. |

I'm taking my mechanic with me! He is also looking at the nearby auctions. He will make a profit, but I do trust him.
He told me today that the window won't shatter, so it's not that scary.

I hope you can find what you're looking for Judy. I would love to have a different vehicle, but I think I'll have my van for quite some time. Since we've had all this horrible snow I would like to go back to a four-wheel drive vehicle. I miss that.
