I had anxiety bad enough that I had pains shooting down my arm like a heart attack. I was sooo scared and still am of having it get that bad again.

That would be terrifing. I'm so glad it's somewhat under control now. I get more like attacks. They'll hit me all of the sudden & I get dizzy, my back & chest will start to hurt & I'll start to feel like I'm on fire.

I know how doctors can be. I was having trouble where I would suddenly throw up for no reason, my doctor at the time told me to stop drinking. Well I know when I'm throwing up from drinking, so I switched doctors & was diagnosed with IBS & was put on medication that has made a huge difference. Sometimes I think doctors hear so many complaints that certain ones go in one ear & out the other, so you have to find a doctor that will listen.

I couldn't just take the pills "when I needed" them because my anxiety was sooo bad so I walked around in a daze for days and maybe weeks. After a period of time I got on Zoloft but it had it's own awful side effects so now I'm on something else. I wish that I could get off of the meds for this but after a couple of days of being off of the meds I get so anxious and my blood pressure goes through the roof!!!

Diana I feel for you for aniexty is not fun .. hugs to you.... Luckily there is medicine to help and no one has to suffer.

It went pretty good, I think. Here is the thread about what the surgeon said.

I'm so sorry your having to take medication for your anxiety. That's something I've not had to do yet. Thank God. I have a friend at work that takes prozac every day. I'm just not that big on meds. Who knows down the road I may need it too. Good luck with that and your in my prayers.
