LOL! That's why I'm looking for a low-stress job this summer.

I'm not sure there are any stress-free jobs Angie. I would like to hope so, but there is always someone in the crowd that makes it a little stressful in someway.

I wish I could find something else too, but don't know if it's possible at my age or that would have the great insurance I have. In my case, I would rather work alone.

That's why I said low-stress. I was a server for a long time and I also worked fast food. I just don't want to do those type jobs again cause they are pretty much guaranteed to be stressful most of the day, every day.

I hope you find what you're looking for in a job. Age shouldn't matter at all!

It shouldn't matter, but sometimes I'm afraid it does. I thought of going back to retail, but then I remembered how stressful that was...lol. Maybe something will catch my eye sometime.

Let's just win the lottery and split it, then we can do whatever we want! No stress.

What a great idea Angie!!!...LOL. I have wanted to win the lottery for so long, but I don't play it, so that kind of decreases my chances....LOLOL

I know what you mean Janet. Part of my job is to handle customer complaints. I do work for a wonderful company. They have been so good to me through my illness. I guess we take the good with the bad. I am lucky to have a job that will still be there
when I am ready to come back no matter how long recovery takes. I would hate to have to go through the whole job search thing after all this.

Angie really had to deal with a lot as a server. She had to take a lot from customers and co-workers.

One of our daughters was a server at Sonic and then at Olive Garden. She got really good tips, but it was pretty gruling work and dealing with some bad people, both the public and the workers. Now she's a teller for a major bank. It's cleaner work and she likes it better than being a server, but she still has to deal with the public. This is why she turned down a promotion so she could stay in college full time and do something better.

Any job has it's own frustrations or they wouldn't call it WORK.

The people in this video are a bit scary!!!

I would really like to find the perfect job, but I don't know if there is one. My requirements would be to be able to take off for important things...Drs. visits, family sickness..etc. without it counting against you even count at all. Good pay, good insurance, separate spaces for those that really don't want to have co-workers, catered lunch and snacks...LOL...am I starting to get out of hand?????....LOL

You don't ask for much, do ya'? My daughter worked as a doctor's receptionist and the drug reps would bring in catered food for them. They got to where they would order food from Olive Garden, P. F. Chang's, and other places like that! Of course she still had to deal with the public and the nurses! Also, a lot of other people around town would bring in sweets and other stuff too. Dae Lynn decided that she had to start cutting back but one woman insisted on being there when she ate it!!! So much for cutting back!!! She didn't stay there very long because she wasn't getting paid very well, but she got free medical care unless she was put in the hospital.
