Thank you all for your support. I'm excited & scared. I can't wait until I can get an appointment & take the test to see what might be a good fit for me. I've never really had a passion that could translate into a job; that's where my issue lies. I like a lot of things, but i've never loved anything. I love animals, so i thought i wanted to be a vet, but working in a vet office when I was 15 made me quesy. I love music, but don't have a lot of talent, so that's not an option. I love math & love to tutor people, but i'm not sure i could deal with who don't want to be there & don't want to learn, plus i'm not the most PC person in the world (my mouth has no filter, what i think comes right out). I think I could really enjoy the psychology. I love to learn new things & new challenges & i like to help people. Also business law is now on the radar. Again thank you all for your support.

I have an appointment with the career counselor on Thurs. at 4:30. They gave me instructions to take the Meyers-brigg & strong interest inventory tests over the internet before I come in so those things are done. I'm getting very excited to see what they say i would enjoy. Hopefully this clears some things up for me & I can start towards a career i could really enjoy.

How interesting!
I took a similar test as a teenager. I think I was supposed to be an artist and/or an art teacher. I became a science teacher, but I think nature and the universe are exquisite, so it worked out well for me. Keep us posted.

I met with the counselor last night. She was very nice. The tests had some interesting insite. Most of my tests pointed to finance. I didn't want to do accounting, but i guess finance is different. They also gave me a website where you can look up any job & it explains what's involved with the job, salary, growth rate. Those types of things. it was very interesting. So I'm going to go through all the jobs that i think sound interesting & get more information. She said i scored very high in an interest in math, so she thinks something that deals with math would make me the happiest.
