The redhead right? I forgot her name too. Those were the days! We used to all get together to watch SNL. The humor was different then. I remember the "hamburger, hamburger, chips", John Belushi as the bee and also as the karate guy, Chevy Chase and Jane Curtain as news reporters. Remember when Roseann Rosanadana would show up on their show?

Lots more too. I'm so glad I was alive in the 60's and 70's. We had fun, the music was incredible, and life was really good.

Thanks Janet. That was a great memory.

I thought it was great too. We use to play cards, watch SNL, play more cards into the early hours and then make breakfast, usually biscuits and gravy. Ahhh...such good times.

Judy, you are right, the 60's/70's were a great time to be a young adult. The music, causes, unrest, justice, many many things (good, bad, and !!!!!-shall remain unnamed) happened during those times and I am so glad that I was there so witness it.

I LOVED the original SNL show - Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray - what a crew! I love the Blues Brothers and so many of the sketches. Sadly, I haven't watched it in years - I'm sure it is good, just not the same.

What WAS the tall skinny redhead's name???!!!???!!! I cheated, I looked it up, Laraine Newman

I had only seen a couple of clips from it - this is the first time I watched the entire thing - VERY funny.

Lorraine Newman is right...thanks Gayle. I just couldn't remember her name...she was so darn funny. They had the best skits ever on the original SNL. I have watched it since then, but it's just not the same. Has gotten a little more raunchy at times and even though it was kind of implied on the original, it wasn't put right in front of you....LOL. I had forgotten too about Dan Ackroid and Bill Murray.....so funny. I really need to find video of the original show. Remember the little mini movies that would be on once in a while? How about "Mr. Bill?" I use to have a very small figurine pin of him that I wore a lot during those times....lol...call the fashion police...LOLOL
